The scheduled 8:15 PM show overlaps the 8:30–9:30 PM “Prima notte at Palo” reservation. Plan on choosing Palo or confirming whether the show is offered at another time.

YVR arrival and hotel transfer
The simplest route is a direct Canada Line train followed by a short downtown walk.
Clear Canadian customs
After landing at 8:00 PM, follow signs through immigration and baggage claim.
Board the Canada Line
At YVR–Airport Station, take a train marked Waterfront. Tap one separate contactless card or mobile wallet per traveler.
Exit at Vancouver City Centre
This is the best direct stop for the hotel—closer than staying aboard to Waterfront Station and no transfer is required.
Walk approximately 9–10 minutes
Walk west on West Georgia Street, north on Burrard Street, then west on West Hastings Street to the Marriott.

North Shore adventure day
Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain, scenic public transit and a waterfront dinner.
Rain plan: Both attractions operate in wet weather. Pack a waterproof shell and shoes with grip.

At Waterfront Station, buy two Adult DayPasses from a Compass vending machine. Take the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, then board bus #236 Grouse Mountain.
The DayPass covers SkyTrain, SeaBus and buses all day. Current adult price: C$12.55 each.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
Allow roughly 2½ hours for the suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk and rainforest paths.

Grab-and-go lunch
Lunch inside Capilano
Use Loggers’ Grill for burgers and barbecue, or The Cabin for pastries, snacks and drinks. Keep lunch quick to preserve mountain time.
Transit
Bus #236 directly to Grouse Mountain
Board the northbound #236 outside Capilano. The ride to the Grouse Mountain base is short and does not require a transfer.
Attraction
Grouse Mountain
Ride the gondola or Skyride and spend the afternoon exploring the mountaintop.

- Check same-day activity times before leaving the hotel
- Target a 4:30–5:00 PM departure from the base
Return
Grouse → Lonsdale Quay → Waterfront
Take #236 downhill to Lonsdale Quay, then ride the SeaBus back across Burrard Inlet. Walk to the hotel and allow time to reset before dinner.

A casual-upscale waterfront choice near the hotel, with fresh grilled fish, seafood, steaks and harbour views.

Why the plan uses public transit
Capilano’s detailed free-shuttle timetable currently ends September 7. The SeaBus and #236 route avoids depending on an unpublished September 9 shuttle schedule and also creates a direct connection from Capilano to Grouse.

Keep cameras ready in open water and during scenic cruising. A breach like this would be the jackpot sighting.

Your Skagway excursion includes sled dogs, so this gives the site a better preview of one of your actual booked experiences.
